Happy New Year!

Welcome back everyone, and a happy new year to you all!

We're starting off the year with three great new books - all ready for you in the library.

First, we picked up the long-awaited sequel to Crewel by Gennifer Albin, Altered.  It continues right where Crewel left off, with Adelice's fall through the weave of her world.

Next, we have finally obtained a copy of Every Day, by David Levithan.  This highly acclaimed story of A, who has no body of his own, and must leap every day into a new host.

And finally, astronaut Chris Hadfield's An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth is our newest non-fiction addition.

"In An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth, Col. Hadfield takes readers deep into his years of training and space exploration to show how to make the impossible possible. Through eye-opening, entertaining stories filled with the adrenaline of launch, the mesmerizing wonder of spacewalks, and the measured, calm responses mandated by crises, he explains how conventional wisdom can get in the way of achievement-and happiness. His own extraordinary education in space has taught him some counterintuitive lessons: don't visualize success, do care what others think, and always sweat the small stuff. "  -- GoodReads

We hope you all enjoy these new books and we will continue to work on building both our fiction and non-fiction collections.

Cheers,
Ms. Susan and Ms. Maggie
